Electronics (best computers, gps, and Pda?

they have a acer computer on sale for 480.00 but it is only 4gb. I know jack crap about computers, but I do know that 4gb isn't alot, right? anyway, could I add more gb to a computer? and if so is it expensive? I also need a gps is nuvis a good brand? any suggestions for PDA
