A liberal democrat obsessed with the South? Am I crazy?

Contrary to popular belief the movie "Deliverance" is not indicative of the South. I've was born and grew up here and love it. People are friendly, we're conservative, but love everybody (not the bigots you hear about) and we're a melting pot like the rest of the country, but we have good old-fashioned manners...unless you're a transplant that still insists on being rude. :) We don't care what you are as long as you're peaceful and loving (i.e., don't beat the crap out of people for no reason...but you can say anything you want and you'll never hear a word against your opinion from a true southerner. Be who you are.)
