Is my story okay so far? (It's just for fun)?

You are gifted. I was engaged and interested. Keep it up! I mean IF I were fat, pimply, unpopular, living in the projects and poor, I might not like it so much. Or, like it, but it would be a fantasy world I didn't believe I could ever touch. Lots of novels or stories are like that though> But, a cardinal rule of writing is write what you know, and I personally found it a great start.
