Is Bigot A Slur? How about Idiot?

labeling is wrong for reasons of being mean and rude...it's like judging them.....HOWEVER using a word to describe someone's actions or behaviour is not wrong. There is a clear difference....if not, wouldn't we inturn be teaching the wrong thing to kids in English cl? Just my thoughts, but, whatever.....
