80's or 90's made for t.v movie? I cant remember the name of this movie I watched in the late 80's or early 90?

I can't remember the name of this movie I watched in the late 80's or early 90s. I think it might of been a Disney made for t.v movie but don't know for sure. I remember a father and his son moving into a new place and there being a room upstairs with a green glowing light. In side the room there was a boogyman or something and I remember green footprints on the wall and something about a pool in the backyard...Please tell me the name of it...its bugging me so much...thanks
