My mom and dad are fighting i need some advice?

yeah my parents are in a hugh argument and my dad is leaving for virginia for 2 weeks and he wants me to go with him because he's sick and he not that well but i don't get along with him at all and were not close and we usually get into fights and arguements when we work together and i'm closer with my mom but i'm in a bind cause i dont my dad to get hurt and i dont want to leave my mom home alone i don't know what to do please help A.S.A.P
