How do i get the couches/chair clean?

i have a living room set, couch loveseat and chair with taupe micro-suede cushioning and just leather on the bottom, some how my living room furniture is covered in wood shavings, it kinda looks like someone was cutting wood in my living room, anyway i tried vacuuming it and it doesn't come over would have to sit there for hours and hours picking each tiny wood piece off... any ideas?
