Bullets- Centre of Pressure?

Since the point (CP) of the bullet is leading the m (CG) is following, it makes the bullet very unstable, which would normally cause it to tumble in the air. Originally, bullets were just musket, which weren't the most accurate, but they didn't have this problem. To avoid this tumbling, the bullets are spun around like a cylinder when they come out of the barrel, so they can avoid the point of the bullet not being in front.
