Are all Politicians full of Sh*t?

Heres a really shitt*y statistic: All the food thrown out weekly by fat Western Countries (i.e. US and Europe) could feed a third world country well for a year. A days worth of rubbish = 1 years worth of food. How then in 2008 are we NOT acting on these figures and actually feeding and clothing people rather than killing them! Over 10,000 people die daily in 3rd world of starvation and starvation related illnessess.
