Why does the media use slogans such as "You Decide" when they use the tiers to controll who people vote for?

they (media)may try to influence voters but ,"can they make you vote for someone you dont want to?" noooooooooooo.so you have the choice to vote for your idol(politician).i am surprised seein fred thompson on your list.he is the only viable polititian this time around.he is for the good of the country and best yet.i am a democrat but i am for fred.
